Why do I need an in-person survey to get a quote?
Every property is different, so an online estimate cannot account for everything that may affect your solar installation.
An in-person survey allows us to properly assess your home before confirming the system design and final price.
During the survey, we will check:
The size, angle, orientation and visible condition of your roof
Any shading from trees, chimneys or nearby buildings
How many solar panels can be safely and effectively installed
Your electricity meter, consumer unit and existing electrical setup
Suitable locations for the inverter and battery
The safest and neatest cable routes
Access requirements, including any scaffolding needed
Your electricity usage and what you want the system to achieve
This information helps us recommend a system that is properly sized for your home and energy needs. It also allows us to identify any additional work before you decide to proceed.
You will then receive an accurate solar quote based on your actual property—not assumptions made from satellite images or basic online information. This reduces the chance of design changes, delays or unexpected costs later.
