The Installation Process
On 3rd July, our expert team began the installation of 18 Jinko Tiger Neo 440W all-black solar panels. These panels were securely mounted on John’s slate roof by our experienced roofers Luke Crimmins, Eddie Friel, and Oscar Lenane. Their clean, all-black finish added a sleek aesthetic to the property while ensuring optimal performance.
Electricians Rob Howard and Zack Crampton installed the GivEnergy 5kW hybrid inverter and connected two GivEnergy Gen3 9.5kWh batteries, providing John with the ability to store surplus energy for night-time use or cloudy days. Operations Manager Richard Stevens oversaw the project to ensure everything ran smoothly.
Why Choose Solar?
This system is designed to generate an estimated 6852kWh annually, cutting John’s reliance on the National Grid by an impressive 76%. The addition of battery storage means he can maximise his use of renewable energy, making his system as efficient as possible.
Results and Benefits
John’s system is expected to deliver a return on investment within 8 years. The dual batteries ensure surplus energy is stored and used efficiently, reducing energy bills and offering long-term financial and environmental benefits. With this installation, John is contributing to a more sustainable future while enjoying substantial savings.
