Project Overview
Victoria and Aaron partnered with Chiltern Solar to take charge of their energy usage, reduce their carbon footprint, and enjoy long-term savings. They chose a bespoke solar energy system tailored to their household needs, with panels and a battery for optimal efficiency.
Installation Timeline
At Chiltern Solar, we’re committed to delivering a hassle-free experience. Here’s how this project came together:
Quotation Finalised: 4th September 2024
Order Received: 5th September 2024
G99 Approval Secured: 10th October 2024
Scaffolding Erected: 21st October 2024
Installation Day: 23rd October 2024
Project Completed: 4th November 2024
The Installation Process
The installation began on the 23rd of October. Our experienced roofing team, comprising Joe Freeman, Luke Crimmins, and Oscar Lenane, installed 20 high-performance Jinko 435W all-black solar panels. These panels are designed for excellent efficiency and look fantastic on any roof.
Meanwhile, electricians Matt and Zack worked on setting up the SolarEdge 6kW inverter, which optimises the energy output of the system, and the GivEnergy All-in-One battery, allowing surplus energy to be stored for later use. By the 4th of November, the system was fully operational.
Why Choose Solar?
Victoria and Aaron’s system is forecasted to generate 5691kWh annually, reducing their reliance on the National Grid by 22%. This means not only lower energy bills but also a significant contribution to a greener future.
Results and Benefits
The system is expected to deliver a return on investment in just 10 years. With rising energy costs, Victoria and Aaron are set for big savings, all while reducing their carbon footprint and enjoying a more sustainable lifestyle.
