Phil Earl

Phil Earl is the Chief Executive of Agrivert, a leading renewable energy company specialising in anaerobic digestion for biogas plants and, more recently, solar energy. He is also a director of Chiltern Solar.

Since joining Agrivert in 2015 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Phil has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth, diversification, and strategic development. He was appointed Chief Executive in 2023.

In his current role, Phil oversees Agrivert's daily operations, guides its strategic direction, and manages commercial partnerships in the UK and internationally. He also sits on the management boards of Agrivert’s overseas joint ventures and chairs the AJA Board.

Phil has over 15 years of experience as a CFO across various industries. During his tenure at Agrivert, he has achieved several key milestones, including:

• Leading the company’s refinancing in 2015.

• Facilitating Agrivert’s £120 million acquisition by Severn Trent Green Power in 2018, reinforcing its position in the renewable energy sector.

• Overseeing fundraising for Agrivert's Hong Kong project in 2020.

• Leading the acquisition of Chiltern Solar Limited in 2023, expanding Agrivert’s portfolio to include solar photovoltaic and battery storage solutions.
