The Agrivert Group specialises in renewable energy. Founded 30 years ago, Agrivert has continuously provided engineering and operational excellence to its customers. We design, build and operate facilities that produce biogas and specify, install and maintain solar PV for commercial, agricultural and domestic clients. We are technology agnostic and specify solution specific products for each and every project we undertake.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Support Administrator with experience in working on installation projects, either the renewable energy or a similar engineering sector. As the Project Support Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administration support for the operations team and management to ensure Chiltern Solar projects are finished on time, within budget and to the highest standard and we respond to warranty, repair and maintenance requests from customers.
Key tasks
Assist in the planning and utilisation of labour and subcontractors to ensure sufficient labour resources are available to complete projects on time. Provide timely notifications of installation dates to the clients.
Provide regular updates on project progress, highlighting any slippages to the Operations Supervisor and Project Manager.
Issue all necessary documentation to installers such as RAMS, test certificates and drawings.
Administer and report time record system for installers, including training days, sick and holiday.
Respond to incoming calls from project customers for installation queries.
In coordination with the Operations Supervisor and Project Manager, raise purchase orders to ensure material and services are received on site so that project delivery is not delayed.
Book and coordinate scaffolding contractors to erect and strike scaffold at the right time.
Record all project related documents internally and externally as required HPincluding deposit monies, MCS, Building Regulations, NAPIT certificates and DNO G98/99.
Ensure milestone project and other service sales invoices are raised in a timely manner and ensure any variations to contract are charged.
Compile and issue Handover Packs to customers within 2 weeks of project completion.
Respond to incoming customer request for warranty or repair and maintenance call outs from customers.
Administer the RMA process by recording equipment warranty issues and ensure we have sufficient information to recover costs from manufacturer.
Key skills
Experience with installation projects, if possible, within SolarPV or related field, including:
A strong understanding of the various stages of a project from order through to handover - ESSENTIAL
Understanding of Solar PV technologies - DESIRABLE
Problem-solving skills, good attention to detail and ability to multi-task - ESSENTIAL
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with customers and internal teams. - ESSENTIAL
Strong IT and written/spoken English skills - ESSENTIAL
Experience of negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers to obtain the best fair price and delivery commitments to meet project deliverables - DESIRABLE
Eligible to work in the UK (we are not able to provide visa sponsorship), and be UK based - ESSENTIAL
Able to provide 2 work related references, one of which MUST be most current employer. - ESSENTIAL
