Project overview

Chiltern Solar recently completed a commercial solar installation at Prestige Press in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. The system was designed to reduce the company’s energy bills, support sustainability goals, and improve energy independence with cutting-edge hardware.

Timeline of the project

  • 7th December 2022: Final quotation provided

  • 1st February 2023: Order approval received

  • 6th March 2023: Scaffolding erected on-site

  • 8th March 2023: Installation commenced

  • 14th March 2023: Installation completed

Installation process

The project began with a thorough site assessment and system design to ensure optimal performance. The roofers, Eddie Friel and Luke Crimmins, installed the 30 Tiger Neo panels securely on the industrial roof. Rob Howard and the electrical team then connected the Solis inverter and Pylontech batteries, integrating them seamlessly into the existing infrastructure.

Expected benefits

The system is expected to generate around 12,259kWh annually, providing significant savings on electricity bills and reducing reliance on grid energy. This installation also aligns Prestige Press with green energy goals, showcasing their commitment to sustainability.
