Overview of the project

This multi-plot solar installation at The Field in Houghton Regis spanned several homes, each equipped with a high-performing solar energy system. From October 2021 to January 2023, we installed bespoke systems that ranged from 0.96kWp to 3.2kWp, offering significant energy efficiency and long-term benefits.

Timeline and process

The project began with a detailed assessment led by our expert estimator, Steve Gamston, followed by meticulous planning by operations manager, Skye Warke. Roofers Joe Freeman and Eddie Friel worked diligently to install JA Solar 320W mono panels with GSE integrated mounting systems, ensuring seamless integration with the properties. Our electricians, Matt Willan and Rob Howard, connected each system to Solis inverters ranging from 0.7kW to 3kW, completing the installations to the highest standard.

Each system was tailored to the unique energy needs of the property, maximising the energy output while maintaining a sleek aesthetic.

Expected results

The installations are projected to generate between 889kWh and 2669kWh annually, significantly reducing reliance on the National Grid. Over their lifespan, these systems will provide substantial carbon offsets, equating to hundreds of trees planted.
