George from Luton, Bedfordshire, wanted to cut his energy bills and reduce his environmental impact. Chiltern Solar delivered a high-performance 8.01kWp solar panel system paired with a GivEnergy battery, offering energy independence and significant savings.

The Installation Process
On 3rd October, Chiltern Solar’s team installed 18 Trina 445W solar panels on George’s roof. These panels, known for their efficiency and sleek design, were mounted by our expert roofers Luke Crimmins, Eddie Friel, Joe Freeman, and Oscar Lenane.
Electrician Matthew Willan connected the panels to a GivEnergy 5kW hybrid inverter, which ensures optimal energy conversion and usage. The system was complemented by a GivEnergy Gen2 9.5kWh battery, allowing George to store excess energy for later use, especially during the evenings or on cloudy days. Operations Manager Richard Stevens oversaw the process, ensuring a smooth and efficient installation.
